The Opportunity: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer with experience in Big Data, GCP Cloud, Java, and Spark applications. As a key member of our Unified Marketing Data Layer team, you will design, implement, and optimize data solutions to support our data-driven initiatives. Your work will ensure that all marketing personas have access to consistent, reliable, and governed data.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop innovative, high-quality, and robust operational engineering capabilities.
• Work with Big Data, Spark, Java, and Scala in our evolving technology stack.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and create technical solutions.
• Define best practices and drive reengineering opportunities.
• Participate in peer code reviews and technical discussions.

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data & Analytics solutions (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Scala, Python, GCP Cloud).
• Proficiency in SQL and database systems, with experience in data model optimization.
• Experience with data pipelines, Airflow, Kafka, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile & Scrum methodologies.
• GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is a plus.
