Altus Group’s Engineering team is revolutionizing Commercial Real Estate (CRE) analytics with a modern cloud platform that centralizes and streamlines siloed data, empowering clients to maximize returns and reduce risks.

As a Senior Engineer, you will design and develop scalable, distributed systems that drive Altus’s strategy to transform CRE with Analytics and AI. The technology, data, and platform services that you will be producing are essential for solving our customers’ most challenging problems and meeting Altus’s goals for speed, integrity, quality and value for our customers and our investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, maintain, and support code that meets the highest engineering standards, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and integrity.
• Quickly understand the product vision, roadmap, and business goals to create effective technical designs that align with the solution architecture.
• Estimate development tasks based on lean requirements, ensuring timely and predictable delivery.
• Recognize the value and impact of your work, contributing directly to the success and satisfaction of customers.
• Integrate security and operational considerations into the design phase to meet all functional and non-functional requirements with confidence.
• Manage the end-to-end security and integrity of your code, applications, and data, ensuring robust performance and reliability.

Key Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in C# .Net
• Experience in Entity Framework, SQL Server, Unit testing frameworks, Visual Studio, Git, client-server architecture, n-tier architecture, WinForms applications, WCF services, REST APIs
• Systematic problem solving with clean, modular design thinking.
• Track record of excellence in software engineering, including design, coding, code reviews, testing automation, and DevOps.
• Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment
• Experience with building, deploying, and operating applications and services on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS and Azure), CI/CD
• Growth mindset to learn, seek diverse viewpoints, and stay current with industry trends and techniques.
• Startup mentality and experience working with lean requirements, can move and iterate rapidly, work across disciplines, and focus on customers.
