Designs, develops, solves problems, debugs, evaluates, modifies, deploys, and documents software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications.


Organizational Context:


Member of the Colleague Engagement Technology Services product engineering, delivery and integration team reporting to a  Engineering Director or Director Product Delivery & Integration.


How will you make an impact in this role?


Software Development


  • Intermediate level ability in software development in support of SaaS Platforms
  • Function as member of an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
  • Participate in code reviews and automated testing
  • Debug basic software components and identify code defects for remediation
  • Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
  • Automate deployments in test or production environments
  • Automatically scale applications based on demand projections

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Owns all technical aspects of software development for assigned SaaS Platform (Oracle Fusion)
  • Performs hands-on architecture, configuration, and support of SaaS (Oracle HCM/Talent/ORC) Platform
  • Collaborates with other engineers, senior engineers, architects, and others through ongoing sprint
  • Functions as an active member of an agile team and helps drive consistent development practices – tools and common component
  • Requirement analysis, writing code and testing, working with other technology teams like Secure File Transfer (SFT), IIQ/IAM, SSO/Okta, 3rd party vendor partner teams and remainder of time working with stakeholders through ongoing product/platform release sprint
  • Provides level 2 support along with Production Support Team (GTOS)
  • Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies 

Minimum Qualification


  • Experience on SaaS Platforms to include Oracle Cloud Fusion (HCM/Talent/ORC) as a Technology Engineer
  • Experience on SaaS Platforms to Include Oracle Cloud Fusion (HCM/Talent/ORC) Configurations/Setup/Maintenance of Fusion Pages
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Experience with Oracle Redwood Design System using Oracle Visual builder or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience of Implementing Oracle Fusion: ORC, Talent, Learning
  • Experience of Multi Region / Country Oracle HCM, ORC, Talent Configuration & Administration
  • Experience of HCM Quarterly Patches impact analysis & validation
  • Prior experience in customization (DFF and EFF), customization of reports, defining concurrent programs, defining value sets, defining form functions and functional setups.
  • Expertise in development, implementation, and customization of Workflows Experienced with Full Project life cycle and well versed with agile & Waterfall Analysis
  • Experience of working with Oracle SR process for issue resolution & escalation
  • Familiar with Agile & Waterfall methodology.
  • Experience of conducting CRP (Conf room pilot) and fit gap analysis.
  • Expertise in translation user requirements and workflows into intuitive, responsive, and accessible interface designs that enhance the external candidate experience.
  • Strong Web Content Management experience with Adobe AEM / CQ5, implementing 2+ full cycle AEM projects
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Automated test execution.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Work with project managers to ensure that all project deliverables are on time and high quality.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams; QA, UX, etc.
  • Assist in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments.
  • Dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve and enhance the user experience.

Up to 6 years of software development experience in the following areas:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (HCM/Talent/ORC and Learning)
  • Experience on OBIEE reports
  • Developing HLD/Scripts (batch/shell) for Importing and Exporting Oracle Cloud
  • Experience on Oracle Fusion Cloud Configuration (HCM/Talent/ORC)
  • Experience on consuming the Webservices
  • Oracle Fusion Redwood UI
  • Experience in using Oracle Fusion APIs
  • Integration with Fusion
  • Integrations with 3rd party Systems and understanding the workflows.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud Technical Skills would be a value add
  • Familiar with Agile or other rapid application development methods
