Senior Engineer, Cloud Engineering (Citrix)

Job Description

• Architect cloud focused Citrix solutions leveraging modern product capabilities to align with the growing requirements of the business
• Design and implement Citrix solutions using various Citrix products, such as Virtual Apps and Desktop, NetScaler and Citrix Cloud
• Perform systems engineering, maintenance scheduling, lifecycle management, and capacity optimization for the Citrix environment
• Provide high-class troubleshooting and problem solving in support of solutions related to Citrix projects and initiatives
• Configure and optimize Citrix infrastructure components, such as servers, applications, network, storage, active directory, etc.
• Monitor and maintain the health and security of the Citrix environment
• Perform updates and upgrades of the Citrix platforms, systems and applications as needed
• Document the Citrix architecture, configuration, policies, procedures, and changes
• Work with ServiceDesk and Production Support teams for incident escalations
• Work with Security Operations team for remediation initiatives

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field
• Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop Certifications strongly preferred

Experience Required:

• 10+ years Enterprise experience with on-premises Citrix Virtual apps and Desktops, Citrix Provisioning Services, Netscaler, Netscaler Gateway and Azure cloud hybrid remote access solutions
• 10+ years Remote Access and Identiy Management integration with Single Sign-On and Multi-Factor technologies using Okta and Azure for endpoint device management
• 10+ years enterprise redundant Geo-centric access with NetScaler’s load balancing
• Enterprise experience in Active Directory Domains
• Excellent experience in Windows PowerShell
• Knowledge of Windows server operating systems, networking protocols, virtualization technologies, cloud computing platforms, etc.
• Excellent understanding of virtualization technology

General Requirements:

• ITIL, Citrix, MCSE, MCITP Certified
• Excellent verbal, written communication and technical documentation skills
• Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent ability to demonstrate planning, organizing and implementing skills
• Detail oriented, focus on customer satisfaction and end-user experience
• Able to perform analysis and clearly communicate gaps in analysis to business and requirements to development teams
