Identity & Access Management main objective is to ensure secure access to DB assets and providing the right access for the right users at the right time. Within I&A, a new enterprise-wide Secrets Management capability will be formed to centrally manage credentials used for machine-to-machine authentication and authorization.

In your role as Senior Engineer, you will join the new team at the exciting time of introducing the new secrets management capability at Deutsche Bank. You will be responsible to develop custom components, configure the SaaS solution and integrate it with relevant sub-systems, work with the software provider and relevant internal technology teams to resolve critical issues, and support application teams across the bank in adopting the new secrets management service.

Your key responsibilities

• Planning and developing entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals
• Building reliability and resilience into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Ensuring maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions
• Ensuring solutions are well architected and can be integrated successfully into the end-to-end business process flow
• Resolving events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas

Your skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable qualification
• 5+ years of experience in software development and integration of a highly available and scalable software product
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, Shell scripting such as Bash or PowerShell) and strong understanding of APIs and web services
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
• Strong DevOps background and a keen eye on process automations
• Understanding of common integration patterns, architectures, and security for SaaS and APIs
• Experience in information security, especially identity and access management and secrets management
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure: GCP (GKE, CloudSQL, CloudMonitoring, etc.), Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift, Terraform, Confluent Kafka, Helm
• Good knowledge of Deployment - Automation & CI: GIT, BitBucket, Artifactory, Ansible, Maven, Ant Artifactory, Jenkins, TeamCity, uDeploy
• Experience in the development and execution of test automation scripts (Selenium, Cucumber, Karate etc.)
