Essential Job Functions:
- Design and implement complex cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform
- Work with clients to understand their requirements and design solutions that meet their needs
- Work closely with developers and other teams to ensure the successful implementation of cloud initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud initiatives that align with business goals and objectives
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure that code is optimized for the cloud
- Conduct code reviews to ensure that development best practices are being followed
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor for their cloud initiatives
- Lead technical discussions with clients to address any concerns related to cloud solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to cloud-based solutions
- Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and make recommendations for their adoption
- Monitor the performance of cloud-based solutions and take corrective actions as needed
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based solutions
- Provide technical support to clients and resolve any technical issues related to cloud solutions
Essential Skills & Experience:
8+ years overall IT industry experience
Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities
Extensive Development Experience in Azure Resources/Services: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, AKS,Azure storage, Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, Redis Cache, Azure Search ,Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, API Management, ARM templates, and general cloud governance and security mechanisms
Experience in analyzing legacy applications and re-architecting them as applications fit to be deployed on Azure
Good understanding of modern DevOps practices, including automation, continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous integration methodologies
Knowledge of authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC), MFA, and RBAC
Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
Experience with multi-tier system and service design and development for large enterprises
Experience with Azure DevOps Service (. e.g. Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, …)

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
