Senior Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Overall end-to-end IT infrastructure setup for the site, including expansion projects for network/AV/smart IT/CCTV/access control, and end-user connections.
• Conduct site UAT and handover to BAU.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all site IT-related activities for the operation site.
• Manage GxP processes for manufacturing sites.
• Oversee IT quality management, site IT-related QMS management SOP handling, CAPA, deviation, and change management.
• Manage LAB system environments and GxP requirements.
• Possess excellent verbal, vocal, and presentation communication skills (mandatory).
• Report infra changes and activities to CFIT.
• Coordinate with business and CFIT to get approval for site IT infra activities.
• Responsible for local IT user calls within specified SLAs.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors, monitor progress of work, and escalate delays or changes to the manager.
• Coordinate with the global technical team.
• Coordinate with management for any IT-related process improvement and changes.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure stock availability for daily operations.
• Responsible for IT asset management.
• Plan and execute IT maintenance schedules.
• Possess excellent communication and coordination skills.

Technical Skills:

• Installation, configuration, and management of Windows 11 and Mac operating systems.
• Strong knowledge in Intune and Jamf.
• Strong hardware troubleshooting skills – laptops and IT devices.
• Basic knowledge of mobile devices and MDM.
• L1 support for server and network devices.
• Monitoring of servers and network devices to ensure minimal downtime.
• Inventory management for hardware.
• Coordination with vendors for timely resolutions on hardware-related calls.
• Basic knowledge of DHCP, DNS, etc.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure setup and management.
• Strong understanding of IT products and solutions used in manufacturing or factory environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
