The Capital Markets business at FIS is a $3bn high growth segment delivering leading edge solutions to the world’s biggest Investment Banks, Asset Managers & Hedge Funds, Private Capital, Lending, Insurance and Risk Management firms. Capital Markets has three lines of business to support customer demands and meet ever evolving market requirements. These three lines of business are Trading and Asset Services, Treasury & Risk and Lending.

About The Role:
An exciting opportunity for a strong technology and development leader to drive forward our technology and cloud modernization programs, as well as to build and scale a global development organization for Auto and Asset Leasing product & solutions.
What you will be doing:
You will provide strategic thought leadership to product & development teams and clients
Build a high performing team by creating a work environment where individuals and teams can achieve peak performance through the attraction, development and engagement of the best and the brightest
Ensure the necessary people, process and tools are in place to deliver against the product roadmaps of our solutions on time and with high quality.
Utilize Agile-Scrum processes to develop industry leading software
Drive continuous improvement within the team to achieve faster turn-around time from concept creation to market
Collaborate/partner with the broader Cross functional organization to foster an End-to-End seamless delivery and operation of our software services in production and to our client
Oversees key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
Keep up to date in technologies for building application services and with evolving standards within FIS. Build awareness of latest trends in technology; look at ways and means of adopting these within the current platform.
What you bring:
18+ years of industry experience with 10+ years of experience in a product-based company on technical track
Significant experience of leading large software teams of 100+ product engineering teams for 5 years or more
Knowledge of current technology landscape in Capital Markets and Leasing/Lending Domain
Exceptional analytical skills. Has a strong external focus on customer, competitor, regulatory & marketplace trends.
Exhibits a passion for the customer, ability to prioritize and retain focus, execute relentlessly, experiment and drive innovation.
Maintains awareness and expertise with emerging technology trends, practices and approaches such as cloud native, SaaS, DevOps and CI/CD. Applies this experience towards shaping a technology strategy and roadmaps.
Experience developing complex enterprise grade solutions in .Net, Test driven development, web-based and with modern architectures (microservices, REST, HTML5, etc.). (Optional – Java technology stack)
Experience with delivery using the public cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.) while taking advantage of the cloud native capabilities (elasticity, scale, PaaS, etc.)
Proven collaborative approach; openly sharing information and receptive to the ideas of others.
Creating and cultivating networks of people across a global and matrixed organization
High level of energy and a personal style that engenders loyalty and trust among team members, at all levels within the organization.
Build a motivated and successful team and lead it towards common goals.
