We are the FIS Digital banking team, and we build Digital platforms which are used by hundreds of communities and regional banks for retail and commercial businesses.  We are recognized as an industry leader for providing a Digital Banking Solution both as a SaaS offering and an on prem offering.  Our modern banking solution provides a rich set of business capabilities for community banks to support their retail and commercial customers.

About the Role:


What you will be doing


  • Responsibilities include to drive Digital Technology delivery for strategic, technology-driven advancements and initiatives, inclusive of planning and execution of deliveries, financial management, roster management, hiring and onboarding, and change management.  The candidate will work to enable the various Digital teams with the primary goal of converging all Digital team practices across the entire product set (Large Financial Institutions (LFI), Regional and Community Banking (RCB), Business Digital, Banker/Teller, API, Platforms).
  • Deliver and own the foundation for all Digital applications inclusive of global code packages, design systems, DevSecOps pipeline, QA frameworks, SDKs and any mobile capabilities needed horizontally across the Digital organization.
  • Deliver a best-in-class mobile architecture using cross-platform and mobile native technologies to be leveraged by a scaled engineering organization to deliver mobile applications to clients and customers.
  • Define mobile best practices and standards for building web and mobile experiences and the associated processes for leveraging them.
  • Define and implement practices and approaches with a goal of high-quality automated releases.
  • Define and implement release processes and automated path to production leveraging best-in-class DevSecOps solutions.
  • Define and implement best-in-class observability suite to ensure production stability, performance, and quality.

  • Displays strong leadership qualities, decision making abilities and strong business judgment, and is comfortable making tough decisions.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills and a confidence to negotiate and present in high pressure environments.
  • A positive & resilient nature is vital as is an immense work ethic that shows leadership by example.
