Overall Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and provide solution for Production and UAT Incidents.
- Hands on experience on one or more of the sub-systems in Vision PLUS (CMS Posting, FAS, TRAMS, VMx) needed to solve the issues in the application.
- Should be able to work independently and escalate if the issue is not resolved on time.
- Excellent analysis skills and expertise in issue resolution and provide fixes for that.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to provide technical know-how and solutions to complex business problems.
- Understand client requirements and develop solution design documents for delivery to clients and internal development team.
- Provide functional and technical guidance to the Business Analysts and Developers
- Assist in resolving complex issues and incidents during implementation, testing and in production.
- Aid in the implementation and stabilization of the solution.
- High-level Understanding of all the VisionPlus subsystems, Batch processing
- Skills in Mainframe - JCL, COBOL, VSAM and CICS
- Experience in one of the Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban
- Vision Flex experience is preferrable.
Experience:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- A history of leading large-scale software development projects
- Demonstrated experience in agile development methodologies
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Lead a team of developers, providing guidance and mentorship
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Relevant professional development certifications
