Senior Consultant – SAP S/4HANA PP

ABOUT THE ROLE

SAP MFG PP Senior Consultant for a world leading pharmaceutical company which operates in over 100 countries and is head quartered in the United Kingdom. The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and in-depth technical knowledge in the SAP Production Planning in S4 HANA. The Candidate should also have strong integration knowledge of S4 SAP PP with QM, EWM, MM, WM & PM Modules. The candidate must have good exposure to Pharmaceutical Industry and its related processes.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities of Role

• As a Senior SAP PP Consultant, will be responsible in providing support activities in SAP PP-PI Module in Application Maintenance and ability to work in Projects related to Application Development & Transformation projects related to S4 HANA
• Will be working closely with the Architects and Business Stakeholders in delivering Incremental Changes and Bug fixes.
• Must work independently in Small, Medium & Complex projects.
• Ability to work Collaboratively with the PP Team.
• Flexibility to work in shifts & from office.

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Should have been certified in SAP Production Planning in S4 HANA
• Expertise in the respective business domain and SAP S4 HANA Production Planning.
• Awareness of roadmap for SAP PP in S4 HANA and key features.
• Must have SAP S4 Production Planning implementation experience in migration/transformation from ECC to S4 HANA and preferred to have exposure to standard Fiori Apps from the catalogue.
• Should have expertise in S4 Features like MRP Live, Change records, Flexible workflows, MTO, MTS, PI-Sheet & Batch Management.
• Should have good understanding on supply & demand planning and possess adequate knowledge on the planning integrated systems like SAP APO, OMP.
• Knowledge on IDOC processing and Background job monitoring; strong integration with Manufacturing Execution systems (MES) like PasX.
• Understanding and work experience on SAP S4 HANA interfaced with Shop floor systems like Systech, Metler Toledo, etc.
• Strong Knowledge on Data migration/conversion using SAP & Non-SAP ETL applications.
• Strong Knowledge in Master data (BOM, Resource, Master Recipe and Production Version).
• Should have experience in customizing for MRP, Master data and Shop floor for PP-PI.
• Should have adequate knowledge on the integration aspects and configuration dependencies with QM, MM, PM, FICO & SD.
• Experience in EWM process with production.
• Knowledge on Basic Bin configuration setup and warehouse data which are EWM managed
• Knowledge on ERP – EWM integration points
• Inbound and outbound queue processing
• Material Staging process for production
• Standard GI & GR
• General movements tracing via MON screen
• EWM Integration with MES system like PAS-X
• Should be able to prepare documents such as business processes, functional specifications based on the requirements as per SAP Activate Methodology, awareness on Agile Methodology and applications like JIRA. Also, must have an experience in BPML.
• Should be able to prepare Test scenarios, test scripts for a business process and good to have advanced testing tools & automation.
• Able to understand configuration dependencies between modules of SAP.
• Experience in Incident & Change Management tools like SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, Remedy.
• Should have good knowledge on ITIL and Application life cycle management processes.

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to SAP QM & PM modules will be an added advantage.

Education Background

• Graduate or Postgraduate.
