RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Co-develop and execute strategy and implementation plans of Takeda Innovation Capability Center in Bengaluru, India with guidance from Head of ICC.


  • Report directly to Head of ICC and collaborates with global BU / IT organizations to ensure that products / platforms are successfully delivered to businesses.


  • Assist in compliance, processes, statutory filings and running of day-to-day operations of the center.


  • Provide leadership to cross-functional organizations including squads / chapters composed of multiple projects / work streams in the successful delivery of high-impact IT initiatives.


  • Monitor and report out the KPIs of the center.


  • Works with internal ICC squads and chapters, providing support for overall collaborations and serves as a liaison between the chapters and business units.


  • Assure appropriate prioritization and alignment with the strategy and direction of the organization and that appropriate resources are allocated for their development.


  • Responsible for utilization of the center and technological deliveries of platforms and products to business units


  • Drives an internal process towards creating optimal processes, standards and infrastructure for the center. 


  • Initiate and build the strategic plan for local supplier optimization, through trend analyzes, analyzes of supplier efficiencies.


  • Influence and manage an optimization plan for supplier use for IT domains on an operational, tactical and strategic level. Draft and operationalize KPI’s for suppliers to different levels of support to match optimal partnership with ICC 


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing Captive/GCC (Global capability center).


  • Graduation in any discipline is Must.


  • Good to have PMO certification.


  • Effectively communicate with varying levels of management i.e. IT Executives, IT Project Managers, Supplier Representatives, etc.  


  • Collaborative partner able to influence and drive accountability across organizational and domain boundaries. 


  • Advocates for needed change across the organization that add to our success. 


  • Prior experience in managing supplier and/or customer relationships.  


  • Experience with technology evaluation, deployment and project management in an Agile environment is required. 


  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence others in a matrix setting. 


  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and prioritize work. 


  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  


  • Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment.
