The employee will be responsible for the creation, scheduling, orchestration and management of cloud infrastructure/platform services. He/she should seek opportunities to reuse existing processes and services to streamline support and implementation of key systems. He/she should accept and evangelize the DevOps culture and embed within the day-to-day organization activities.

• Competency Summary

Azure Cloud Engineer will be responsible for the qualification and enhancement of cloud services mainly on Azure. Should be able to work on cross cloud integration patterns. Responsibilities include but not limited to new feature enhancements, configuration, automated deployments and support. Individual should be able to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create high-performance, scalable, innovation, AI enabled and reliable search solutions that address complex information retrieval challenges. 

Cloud Data engineers work closely with Platform Architects and Data Scientists. They also work with business and IT groups beyond the application sphere, understanding the enterprise infrastructure and the many source systems. They should be able to provide guidance into the DevOps toolchain, lifecycle, improvement, and standardization strategies.

• Key Qualification Requirements:

• 6-9 years hands-on experience with Azure services.
• Review and implement the customer requirement to Azure and AWS Cloud (IaaS and PaaS) environment.
• Designing, implementing, optimizing and supporting datacenter migration projects.
• Hands on experience on Azure Translate.
• Good Understanding on Azure Landing Zones using (Clous Adoption Framework for Azure) CAF Modules to build Azure Infrastructure that involves creation of Azure VMs, Networking, Storage, LBs, PaaS Services like Function App, Web Apps, Application Gateway etc. as per the customer requirements.
• Worked on Infrastructure Deployments using Bicep Modules, Terraform, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, PowerShell using Azure DevOps Pipeline.
• Must having experience automating requirements using GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Have strong agile background and should be able to manage multiple engagements handling Azure Boards, Repos and Azure CI/CD Pipelines.
• Good understanding on Azure Policies, RBAC, Azure Security.
• Knowledge on Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Backup, Azure Monitor and Azure AD.
• Hands-on on Cloud Migration, involved in activities like executing assessments, solution estimations, capacity planning for workloads from on-prem to Cloud for both Azure and AWS.
• Have exposure to Tools like DMA, DMS and Azure Data Studio.
• Setting up implementing HA/DR solution in Azure Cloud.
• Conducting Performance Tuning and troubleshooting on Cloud Environments.
• Good conceptual understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker and Containers.
• Position appropriate technical solutions within the enterprise, streamlining our portfolio of modern tools to align with the company’s Tech strategy, ecosystem and bring in industry standards and methodologies.
• Work in Agile Sprints with business facing project teams.
• Must possess strong verbal and written communication
