Senior Cloud Architect - Assistant Vice President

Role Summary & Role Description

We’re looking for a seasoned Cloud Engineer Lead to:

• Advise on cloud adoption strategy, policy, and procedures
• Design and implement solutions on cloud following best practices
• Research and innovate new cloud offerings and guide team
• Reference implementation for latest cloud offerings that matches business requirement
• Implement cloud subscription cost, policy, governance best practices
• Interact with multiple ops/eng teams to productionize solution
• Experience in Azure, AWS cloud preferred

• worked as a cloud sme focusing on cloud implementation for 2-4 years, and overall, 4 to 8 years of it experience
• should have azure, aws development and architecture working experience in large and medium scale project
• experience in building and running containerized microservices for kubernetes/cloud environment
• experience in serverless workloads, hybrid k8’s deployments
• working experience building solution for cicd using github, gitlab or azure devops
• implemented infrastructure automation using arm/terraform/bicep/bash
• monitoring solutions using log analytics and application insights
• strategic thinker and excellent communicator, able to coach and lead the team
• deploy and configure infrastructure, implement workloads and security on azure
• azure developer associate or azure solution architect certification preferred
• certified kubernetes application developer (ckad) certification is a plus

Bachelor or equivalent degree with a focus in technology

• experience in cloud deployment patterns like Canary Rollouts, Blue-Green patterns
• experience in cloud cost optimizations, finops
• knowledge/experience in Site Reliability implementations, Chaos experiments

Core/Must have skills

• 5+ years as cloud SME on the large/medium scale implementation project.
• 4+ years on design and architecture on cloud platform
• Should have one of the cloud certification
• Experience in building containerized workloads on platform such as docker and Kubernetes
• Extensive knowledge on Kubernetes and other conternization platform
• Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline is a must
• Experience on the Infrastructre automation (IaC) using arm/terraform/bicep/bash
• Monitoring solutions using log analytics and application insights
• Should have azure, aws development and architecture working experience in large and medium scale projects.
• Strategic thinker and excellent communicator, able to coach and lead the team
• Deploy and configure infrastructure, implement workloads and security on azure
• Knowledge/experience in Site Reliability implementations, Chaos experiments
• Experience in cloud deployment patterns like Canary Rollouts, Blue-Green deployments, etc.,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences with excellent facilitation
• Cloud cost optimization experience and knowledge
• Azure developer associate or azure solution architect certification preferred
• Certified kubernetes application developer (ckad) certification is a plus
