Description Senior Director - Digital Planning

Overview of job
Digital media planning among the brands that are market leaders and have cult like following among its fanbase.
Person should have a good understanding on the digital media and sound knowledge of the performance media – search, social, affiliates and all the comes with it. 
Reporting of the role - General Manager

In three months:
  • Understand Airtel business and dynamics across various categories.
  • Build a good working relationship with all stakeholders
  • Work with all constituents of digital brand eco-system under one single roof
  • Introduce digital channels across media
In six months:
  • Should be able to contribute toward strategic approach on Airtel
  • Understanding Integrated media solutions and strategy for then client
  • Learn about effectively pitching 360 digital products to clients
  • Work with a diverse team of media buyers and planners across 360-degree media and beyond
  • Emerged as a coveted champion and go-to person on digital marketing solutions
 In twelve months:
  •  Lead the annual planning process for the client
  • Device and converse on various measurement techniques / metrics across touchpoints based on client objectives
  • Win awards in both internal and external forums like FOMA, Cannes, Smarties, Emvies, Abbys etc.
  • Ability to drive agency KPIs balanced with client KPIs
 Responsibilities:
  • Understand client objectives, category/competitive trends for various product categories
  • Develop strategic thinking on the brand and ability to manage large teams from strategizing to delivery and client engagement
  • Supervise and lead annual operating principles and reviews with the client
  • Push planning thinking by utilizing EM research, systems and tools
  • Search and apply/reapply regional and global learnings and best practices
  • Drive tech lead innovations for the brand
  • Knowledge sharing and thought leadership
What you will need: 
  • Should have a point of view on the evolving digital landscape. Abreast with the latest technology that will affect digital advertising and should be able to translate it for Airtel
  • Abreast with the latest technology that will affect digital advertising
  • Understanding of digital landscape viz. Knowledge of the digital advertising industry, trends, technologies (DMP, DSP, SSP etc.) – Preferred
  • Applied knowledge of 3rd party ad serving, website and tracking and associated technologies – Preferred
  • Worked closely with publisher partners to elevate industry standards in-line with client needs.
  • Exposure to affiliate and programmatic technologies
  • Passion to learn and unlearn and constantly push boundaries to improve
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills combined with outstanding presentation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced analytical skills, specifically relating measurement plan and learning agenda– Preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, People managing skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
