About the department



DD&IT Product Supply, within the Global IT Organization, is a unit responsible for more than 40 global IT systems at Novo Nordisk. These systems are critical to the execution of key business processes such as development, manufacturing, sales, and finance. Our strategic objective is to be the IT partner for the business, ensuring we provide the IT solutions and support needed to meet Novo Nordisk’s production and supply chain needs worldwide. The team is based primarily in Denmark and India, fostering a collaborative and innovative atmosphere.



The position
Novo Nordisk has recently initiated the Warehouse 4.0 program with the purpose of automating warehouse operations by applying modern technology, e.g., mobile robots (AGVs/AMRs) and shuttle systems. SAP EWM has been selected as the IT system of Warehouse 4.0, therefore being the key enabler to Novo Nordisk’s digitalization journey. As an SAP EWM Senior Business Analyst I, you will be part of an agile team working with the deployment of SAP EWM across the world. Your other key responsibilities will include:


  • You will collaborate closely with the Manufacturing Sites and our agile organization in Supply Chain IT, where you engage in an agile delivery program within the Produce & Deliver, including line of business, IT team members, as well as external vendors. 


  • The team you will be working with comprises of highly skilled and passionate project members based primarily in Denmark and India Contribute to the design and implementation of the standard SAP EWM template to support required business processes.


  • Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other modules and external systems. Guide and assist the team in troubleshooting, system configuration, and following best practices.


  • Engage in dialogue with Product Supply colleagues across the supply chain to ensure alignment with business requirements.


  • Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders both in IT and line of business. Ensure deliverables adhere to GxP requirements.



Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:


  • SAP EWM functional expert with a proven implementation and development track record of 7+ years of relevant experience (overall 10+ years of industry experience).  Willing to work in the Operations area.


  • Expertise in EWM integration with other SAP modules such as SAP WM, PPPIQM, MES system, especially in an operational context.


  • Strong analytical skills and a standard mindset for best practice solutions.


  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues within the SAP EWM environment.


  • Experience in presenting information and recommendations to stakeholders.


  • Advantageous to have deep knowledge and experience within the SAP EWM module including MFS functionality deployed in automated warehouses.


  • Preferred qualifications include substantial experience in configuring within SAP Logistics modules (MM, WM, SD) and understanding of integration between modules and systems.


  • It’s a plus if you have experience in providing user training and support for SAP EWM.


  • Experience in an Agile organization and familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and GxP regulations would be an asset.
