Senior Business Analyst
Iron Mountain’s Global Business Services (GBS) group is hiring an experienced Senior Business Analyst.
You will join a dynamic and fast-paced organization whose mission is to be a trusted strategic partner to
our internal and external customers through optimization, standardization, and enterprise capabilities.
The Senior Business Analyst will collaborate with Project Managers and Change Practitioners to drive
successful project delivery that meets stakeholder expectations. You will closely collaborate with key
stakeholders to understand and document current and future-state business processes. You will provide
analysis and subject matter expertise on identifying key business capabilities and outcomes to ensure
project success.
The Senior Business analyst is responsible for upholding the quality of project delivery and ensuring the
business outcomes are met through project execution. The analyst will work closely with our project
managers and provide support for our project teams to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify
inefficiencies and recommend solutions.
● Collaborate with stakeholders to document business requirements, and prioritize needs, and
ensure alignment with organization objectives.
● Develop and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges, including process
improvements, system enhancements, and new technology implementations.
● Analyze complex data sets to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-
making.
● Serve as a liaison between business units and technology teams to ensure successful project
outcomes.
● Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements process maps and user
stories.
● Document test plans, and comprehensive test scenarios that help drive user acceptance testing
and facilitate test case sign-off with our business partners.
● Facilitate workshops and training sessions for people affected by new systems and processes.
● Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to enhance
business operations.
● Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the GBS PMO through lessons learned and other
continuous improvement initiatives.
● Lead and mentor business analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work
environment.
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
● Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
● Ability to facilitate discussions and ensure documentation is maintained throughout the project
● Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
● Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic
environment.
● Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a focus on operational efficiency and performance
improvement.
● Ability to influence others and achieve common goals.
● Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships.
● Minimum of 5 years in a business analysis role.
