Senior Business Analyst

Department:Transaction Banking Services (TBS)
Location: Bengaluru - Bellandur (GTP)

Software Requirements:

• Proficient in Agile methodologies and tools for product delivery.
• Familiarity with TBS product suite, including Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, and Payment Solutions.
• Experience with API banking, mobile banking, and web solutions.
• Knowledge of payment processing systems and industry-standard formats (e.g., SWIFT MT, ISO20022).

Overall Responsibilities:

• Maximize the value of TBS products by taking ownership of product delivery across ENBD UAE, Islamic, and international entities.
• Lead discussions with business and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on product goals.
• Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring clear and prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate business requirements and ensure successful product launches.
• Manage end-to-end product delivery, including testing, release planning, and post-launch support.
• Maintain strong relationships with CFOs and Treasury Teams of corporate clients to understand their needs and drive product enhancements.

Category-wise Technical Skills:

Business Analysis:

• Expertise in requirement elicitation, business process analysis, and documentation (BRDs, user stories).
• Ability to translate technical requirements for business stakeholders and vice versa.

Product Management:

• Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and backlog prioritization.
• Experience in conducting customer usability testing workshops.

Payments Domain Knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of electronic payment processing (domestic and international).
• Familiarity with payment regulations and compliance (PCI-DSS, UAE/KSA Central Bank Regulations).

Technical Proficiency:

• Experience with TBS channels (iGTB, TCS-BANCS, etc.) and API banking.
• Knowledge of payment processing components and file/message formats (SWIFT, ISO20022).

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in the regional banking industry, specializing in Cash Management products.
• Proven track record in managing product delivery via agile teams in a high-pressure environment.

Day-to-Day Activities:

• Conduct requirement analysis and maintain a prioritized product backlog.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure active participation from team members.
• Collaborate with technical teams for product development and testing.
• Engage with stakeholders for product feedback and validation.
• Track production issues and coordinate with platform owners for resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
