We are seeking a Senior AWS Infrastructure and Automation Engineer to join our team. 
Our client is a leading American healthcare and insurance company that is among the world's largest, serving 148 million people globally. They partner with governments, employers, and providers to offer affordable coverage, simplify healthcare, and ensure high-quality care access. To cover the important business tasks of our client we seek a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices to support our cloud-native application development and deployment processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust, scalable cloud environment that aligns with business needs.
• Design secure, high-performing AWS architectures tailored for growth and efficiency.
• Oversee and fine-tune AWS services to meet evolving project demands.
• Configure VPCs, including subnets and security groups, to ensure safe and reliable network structures.
• Set up and manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls for data security and compliance.
• Build and deploy serverless microservices using the AWS SAM CLI.
• Write and manage IaC to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
• Implement workflows to transfer and process files between S3 buckets efficiently.
• Create scripts for automation tasks, boosting productivity and reducing manual work.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for seamless deployment.
• Configure automated build, test, and deployment workflows for reliability and speed.
• Use automation to maintain code quality, security, and performance standards.
• Track cloud performance and costs, implementing cost-effective improvements.
• Follow cloud security and compliance standards to protect data and infrastructure.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, Lambda, EC2, SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• 3-5 years in designing and optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Deep, expert-level knowledge of AWS SAM and Terraform.
• Strong skills in Python (preferred), GoLang, or Node.js.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions.
• Skilled in Amazon VPC, subnets, security groups, and IAM configurations.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing serverless solutions.
• Strong grasp of IaC principles, with practical implementation experience.
• Background in building workflows for automated file transfer and processing.
• Exceptional ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues.

Nice to have:

• Scripting experience in  Bash.
