Role in nutshell:


As an Senior Automation support engineer, you will assist with technical / functional  related to automation testing products (Automate/ App automate / Percy )
You take the necessary steps to resolve customer issues by debugging finding a solution and which may involve  Cross Team Collaboration.
These technical queries may be related to product/ Testing tools and testing frameworks, customer's network, BrowserStack's infrastructure, website, mobile application, etc
Provide world class support to customers and handle escalations and resolve complex issues and guide mentor junior eng to improve quality of their work.


What will you do?
  • Provide 24 X 5 enterprise support to BrowserStack customers 


  • Active debugging on user’s framework and Integration  to ensure that they run across all browser platforms 


  • Respond to public queries around BrowserStack products on forums 


  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management & Sales teams to fix product issues quickly & to provide product improvement ideas 


  • Actively contribute to the public & internal Knowledge-base 


Desired experience:
  • 3+ Experience in Technical Support/Automation QA roles


  • Excellent command of written & spoken English


  • Good customer interaction skills through the spectrum of customer sentiments


  • Knowledge or hands-on experience in functional and automation testing tools/frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.


  • Hands-on experience in at least one programming language like Java, Node JS, Python, Ruby, etc.


  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git, Github, Team Foundation Server (TFS), etc


  • Basic understanding of APIs, bash or cURL scripting


  • Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries like SELECT statements and JOIN clauses


  • Basic know-how of networking concepts (http/s, ping, tracert, SSL, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Proxies, DNS,  etc)


  • Basic understanding of Web Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML


  • Problem-solving, analytical skills, and troubleshooting skills to address various customer use cases or requirements


  • Should be a team player and should have a can-do attitude
