About The Role

As we invest in our growth, we’re looking for a talented Senior Associate – Product & Technology Manager based out of our Mumbai office who has experience in payments and the foreign exchange (FX) industry with excellent technical skills and sound business acumen.


This role plays a central role in overseeing the development, launch, and implementation of new products or services within an organization. This multifaceted role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to market launch, and ensuring successful implementation across all relevant departments and stakeholders.


What You’ll Be Doing

Product Development:  


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, design, and marketing, to conceptualize and develop new products or enhancements to existing products.
  • Conduct market research, customer surveys, and competitive analysis to identify market needs, trends, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Define product requirements, features, and specifications based on market feedback, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

Product Management: 


  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of product development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to allocate resources, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Implementation Planning: 


  • Develop implementation plans and strategies for rolling out new products or services across relevant departments and business units.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, operations, and customer support teams to ensure readiness for product launch, including training, documentation, and support infrastructure.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of product implementation and adoption.

Stakeholder Engagement: 


  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers throughout the product development and implementation process.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication to align priorities, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus on project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage expectations and provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.

Quality Assurance and Testing: 


  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, usability, and performance of new products or features.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and beta testing programs to gather feedback, identify bugs, and iterate on product improvements prior to launch.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:


  • Ensure that all payments and FX products comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Work with compliance and legal teams to manage regulatory changes and their impact on products.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.

Post-Launch Monitoring and Optimization: 


  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and market dynamics post-launch to identify opportunities for product optimization and enhancement.
  • Analyse usage data, customer satisfaction metrics, and competitive benchmarks to inform product roadmap decisions and prioritize feature development.
  • Iterate on product features, user experiences, and go-to-market strategies based on feedback and insights from stakeholders and end-users.
