About the Department


Finance Global Business Services (GBS), Bangalore was established in 2007, is currently responsible for supporting Accounting, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Financial Planning & Analytics for Head Quarters at Denmark, Region Europe, North America, International Operations & Global Service Centre Bangalore. Commercial Analytics is part of Finance GBS and was founded in June 2013 with the idea of establishing a team consisting of dedicated analytics professionals to provide the best-in-class analytical services and insights to the global organization. The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.


The Position


As an Associate Business Analyst the key responsibility includes:


  • Design, deliver, and execute projects focused on Commercial Effectiveness. Provide and effectively communicate qualitative and quantitative analytics to support informed decisions.
  • Calculate, execute, and analyze incentive compensation (IC) plans, proactively sharing insights and observations to enhance project outcomes. Advise internal stakeholders on optimized IC system configurations, build quality control steps, and ensure optimal process performance to deliver IC reports with stringent quality.
  • Maintain process documentation such as SOPs, checklists, and BRDs, establishing and adhering to best practices. Prepare marketing and financial documents for presentation to higher management on Commercial Effectiveness projects. Present business outcomes to stakeholders and ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality support.
  • Manage incentive processing and reporting according to IC calendars, including data processing, validation, calculation, and reporting. Work closely with stakeholders to gather feedback, identify development opportunities, and ensure smooth delivery of IC dashboards and pre/post-IC analytics.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into IC operations delivery requirements, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs. Utilize strong quantitative and analytical abilities to integrate and analyze Pharma data, including sales, market, cost, and promotional data
  • Handle data ingestion, metrics computation and reconciliation, reporting, workflows, target setting, and parameter setting.

Qualifications 


We expect you to hold the below skills and knowledge:


  • Bachelor/Master’s/Engineering Degree from a well-recognized institute.
  • Good academic track records and grades.
  • From 3+ years of relevant experience in Pharma industry and consulting experience is a must.
  • Ability to translate business problems into most efficient and effective analysis plan; execute the analysis including data pull, data preparation.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders, primarily with customers, vendors, consultants and project teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in analysing complex situations, collecting data, effectively synthesizing the analytics/data to form a complete, cohesive picture. Ability to customize solution on stakeholder requests.
  • Proven track record developing and executing various field force commercial effectiveness projects to achieve superior results, demonstrating data-driven thinking, customer orientation, and operational excellence.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders, primarily with customers, vendors, consultants, and project teams. Consulting experience a plus.
  • Ability to support project with collaboration, data gathering, keeping the track of milestones etc.
  • Should be flexible to work around European Time Zone
  • Good to have experience on Incentive Calculation tools (Javelin / Sales IQ etc) and analytical tools like Power BI, Qliksense, tableau, Alteryx etc.
