This role is responsible for day to day Supply Chain execution of Operations. she/he supports , Cost Management, Purchase order placement and follow up for delivery scheduled Management.

Job responsibilities:
Well Versed with Semiconductors, Passives, Connectors, PCB’s, Relay/Switches etc. components used on PCBA.
Must have worked in Electronics Management team with Global spend and Familiar with Market conditions for electronics.
Must have experience to Manage OEM’s/Distributors
Must have experience in Supplier relationship management
Must have working relationship management with EMS suppliers.
Must have experience on shortage management of electronics components in complex environment.
Must have experience in expediting the component shortages / process bottlenecks w.r.t changing forecast /usage environment.
Prioritizes the support activities for the global plants as per the internal customer criticality.
Provide root cause corrective action when needed.
Participate and lead continuous improvement opportunities
Proactively avoid material shortages and demonstrates horizontal deployment.
Expedite part shortages specific to Electronics commodity
Proactively drive root cause corrective action (RCCA) with the supply base
Interact with suppliers to communicate delivery expectations, forecasts, design changes, lead time management, and material expedites or delays to ensure suppliers meet Supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) goals.
Proficient in generating reports from tools and platforms available within the organization.
Proficient in SAP environment.
Shall be familiar with know how on MRP in SAP for prioritizing the tasks in line with the internal stakeholder’s expectation.
Qualifications:
Education requirements: Bachelor’s Degree
Required skills: Excellent Communication skills, familiarity with ERP MRP systems (preferably SAP & Macola)
SME in Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access and MS Office.
Preferred experience: SAP / Macola ERP system experience; 4 to 6 or years of previous site buyer experience in electronics
