Job Summary:
As a Data Quality at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking- Data and Analytics, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
The Data Quality Analyst will support the Chief Data Office Data Quality Team:
- Develop and maintain DQ Rule monitoring dashboards on Tableau, and establish automated data workflows using Alteryx to integrate multiple data sources, including AWS Data lake and Snowflake, to support reporting and dashboards.
- Create and maintain data quality rules using the CCB Data Quality Rules platform. Conduct peer reviews of rules written by others, migrate rules from testing to production environments, support the rule writing platform, troubleshoot rules and platform issues, and enforce best practices for rule writing and data quality monitoring.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain dashboards and reports in Tableau.
- Query, aggregate, and transform data from multiple sources using Alteryx and SQL.
- Automate the publishing and refresh of dashboards. Troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Consult with multiple teams and users on specific data visualization and reporting requirements.
- Communicate status to management and stakeholders as necessary through verbal and written communication.
- Design, build, and test rules using the CCB Data Quality Rules platform. Peer review rules written by others.
- Migrate rules from testing to production environments. Support and troubleshoot rule and platform issues. Coach other rule writers on established procedures and best practices.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- 3 years of hands-on experience of building dashboards and reports in Tableau
- 2 years of hands-on experience of working with Alteryx
- Fundamental strong working knowledge of SQL language is required
- Experience in data management utilizing Toad, Oracle/PL SQL, Teradata or similar tools is required
- Experience of querying data from AWS Cloud and Snowflake is required
- Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Minimum 2 years experience working with Mortgage, Credit Card, Auto, or Student Loan operations processes, data and/or technology platforms
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Ability to understand data types and create and understand pseudo-technical language - strongly preferred
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to understand business and technical functions
- Highly motivated, team player, self-starter and capable of working independently as well as in a team/collaborative environment
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Engineering, Business Management or Information Technology
- Experience of working on platforms like Ab-initio, Collibra, Informatica is strongly preferred
