Job Description
Review and understand all forms of legal and tax documents (including, Subscription docs, Investment Management Agreements, Limited Partnership Agreement, Side Letters, W8/W9)
Set up new Investors in the Ares Investor Master, capturing data from various sources.
Assist in coordination of fund closes/investor onboarding – ensuring all teams are aware and that all signoffs are received in time for closing (e.g., AML/KYC complete, tax forms received, and tax signed off). Follow up on items which are not complete at closing to ensure timely resolution.
Reconcile data captured to fund admins and following procedures to resolve any breaks
Update Investor static data ensuring Ares verification procedures have been followed
Interact with Ares Fund Administrators and well as internal teams such as IR, Fund Accounting, Legal, Compliance and Tax
Escalate issues and/or delays in responses to senior team leads.
