We are looking for a senior Android developer with 6+ years of experience, responsible for the development and maintenance of digital SDK integrated in publisher apps aimed at a range of Android devices including mobile phones, tablets and TVs. Your primary focus will be development of Android sdk features for audience measurement and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, advanced design, and the creation of quality products is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and build sdk(library project) features and in-house sample apps for the Android platform
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the sdk
Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Passionate about writing clean, well organized, and production-ready code
Skills
Proficient with Java and Kotlin (minimum 5 years Java/J2EE + 1 year Kotlin experience is must)
Experience of working with Android framework, third-party libraries, and APIs
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Understanding of Android Design principles and interface guidelines
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to investigate crashes in production
Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools such as profiler
Knack for benchmarking and optimization
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools Gitlab and Github
Familiarity with continuous integration with Jenkins
Experience using dependencies managers like Gradle and Maven
Experience with native player components is preferred
Solid understanding of the Agile/SCRUM SDLC using ALM tools such as JIRA
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
