About your team

This role is for a highly motivated Analyst/Senior Analyst in the GPS team in India. This team is focused on supporting initiatives related to Reconciliation and Product Management Capability. The team likely works on tasks such as reconciling data or financial records, managing product information, and enhancing processes related to these areas. The role requires individuals who are dedicated, detail-oriented, and capable of analyzing and improving existing systems. It's an opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset to contribute to important projects within the organization.

About your role
 

This role is for a highly motivated senior programmer to work within the RPM team. He/She will need to work on multiple technologies and will be responsible for the technical analysis and development of applications with respect to the requirements. The successful candidate will be expected to work as independent and vital contributor in the development, have good attitude and analytical skills.

The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Core Java, Springs, Javascript, Backbone, React, Web Service integration and comfortable working on Rich internet applications / Single Page Application.

In order to provide support and services to customers, the successful candidate may be required to work UK or India business hours. This demanding role would perfectly suit a dynamic individual looking to work in a fast paced environment to ensure the smooth running of business critical systems.

About you

• Responsibility to ensure project deliverables conforms to business requirements/objectives
• Understand the requirements, evaluate potential products / solutions and provide technical recommendations
• Responsible for design, impact analysis for the requirements
• Be “hands on” with technology and to contribute to the design and development of projects where deemed necessary
• Liaison with Project Managers, Delivery Architect, Business Analyst and other Subject Matter experts to ensure successful deliveries.
• Providing estimates as per the requirements specified by the business.
• Complete projects in accordance with agreed standards i.e. operational acceptance criteria.
• Identify and manage risks to conclusion escalating as appropriate

• Work with project / operational areas as required to safeguard production service when changes are introduced into the production environment.  
• Raising the productivity and quality of development teams by promoting agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring and/or pairing.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Ability to apply development language knowledge to supply development solutions efficiently that comply with coding standards, technical design, performance requirements and functional specifications

Essential skills

• 4-7 years of industry experience with exposure to complete SDLC cycle in multiple projects.
• Knowledge on design and development of Service Oriented Architecture based solutions
• Knowledge on design and development of RIA / SPA.
• Experience of complete project lifecycle execution from Requirements Analysis to Production Support.
• Understanding concepts and good exposure on Core Java, Springs.
• Understanding concepts and good exposure on JavaScript, Frameworks like Backbone, Marionette.
• Good understandings around JavaScript open source libraries like mocha, chai.
• Should have good exposure around writing JUnits in Core Java.
• Should have good exposure around writing unit test cases in JavaScript.
• Should have integrated Web Service in Java application.
• Good exposure around JSON.
• Understanding of Agile model.
• Understanding of Jira tool.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of industry standard development and methodologies
• Knowledge of trouble shooting during various phases of development.
• Good client relationship management skills
• Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
• Good working understanding on Jenkins.
