Introduction to role
Join a world-leading pharmaceutical company headquartered in the United Kingdom, operating in over 100 countries, as a Senior OMP Functional Consultant. You will be a senior member of a functional team for large OMP development, support, and maintenance projects, spanning several SAP landscapes across continents. As an OMP Consultant, you will handle resolving issues reported by business users and delivering all enhancements in the application. You will be responsible for monitoring and BAU support, finishing the tasks assigned by the Team Lead, and proactively working with business users to identify and resolve recurring issues. Collaborate closely with teams and business customers worldwide, supporting from design to deploy phases of the projects. Your exceptional team coaching skills will be invaluable.
Resolve issues in OMP reported by business users
Deliver enhancements in the application
Monitor and provide BAU support
Complete tasks assigned by Team Lead
Proactively work with business users to identify and resolve recurring issues
Collaborate with teams and business collaborators worldwide
Support from design to deploy phases of projects
Coach and mentor team members
Consolidating demand, supply planning, and strategic network design into one platform (SNP) and providing a lean and simplified user experience
Supply planning capabilities uplift with more future OMP functionalities including CO2 sustainability planning
Broad functional, working knowledge and experience in OMP DRP, PP, Campaign Planning, Volume Planning, Detail scheduling
Good understanding of business processes in the life sciences, pharmaceutical or other manufacturing domains
OMP OPAL certified to provide technical support is a big plus
Ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications
Exposure to highly customized OMP environments and working on collaborate with SAP systems
Exceptionally good technical understanding of integration of OMP and SAP ECC/APO modules and the underlying logic
Understanding of ITIL processes and Application life cycle management
Good understanding of GXP and SOX requirements
Working experience in a validated environment
Awareness of release governance processes and experience in working on any incident management tool
Good communication and people skills
Well versed in English with excellent spoken and written skills
Willingness to work on all shifts and extend when necessary to support critical issues with BAU
Initiative-taking approach to problem solving
Experience working in a globally distributed team
Educational background: Bachelors in Engineering with or without Masters degree
Certified by OMP in the respective functional space
