In the role of Analytics Lead (Incentive Compensation), your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with US business partners from the Field Analytics and Insights team, focusing specifically on Incentive Compensation (IC) analytics and operations. This involves active engagement with various stakeholders, including commercial operations teams, field teams, data vendors, therapy area experts, and IT teams. Your responsibilities will encompass driving regular IC operations, providing recommendations, identifying data quality issues, and proposing solutions to enhance IC operations. The role demands the ability to conceptualize complex unstructured problems and apply analytical skills to address various business questions effectively.


Your Opportunity


  • Lead complex initiatives and operations in the areas of field incentive compensation, especially focusing on:


    • IC Design and Goal Setting


    • IC admin & data management


    • IC Payouts


    • Awards Programs


    • IC Reporting & communication


    • Other IC related engagements


  • Understand stakeholder needs, prioritize and manage day-to-day tasks accordingly, including interacting with therapy area experts, Sales & Claims data experts, gathering requirements, and coordinating with the internal team to deliver them


  • Lead discussions, act as a thought partner, offer subject matter expertise to jointly drive various initiatives for business partners, and address user queries


  • Develop presentations and reports to communicate key insights and recommendations to stakeholders, attend meetings with teams across different time zones, and ensure the smooth delivery of analytical and operations-related requests for business partners


  • Build and maintain process assets (SOPs, Checklists, BRDs, Process Maps etc.) and establish best practices


  • Provide guidance to the team in prioritizing competing stakeholder requests, ensuring a concentrated focus on high-priority activities


  • Inspire, mentor, and coach junior team members to foster their professional development, while also conducting training programs to enhance subject matter expertise within the team


Who you are


  • You hold a bachelor's degree and 5+ years in the analytics / consulting space preferably in the Pharma /Biotech / Healthcare domain. Preferably, you have a Master's degree


  • Experience in other Pharma commercial & Field operations like targeting, Segmentation, Sales force Sizing & Structuring, Call Planning, Territory Alignment, Field Reporting etc. will be an added advantage


  • Knowledge of Common IC plan strategies by product life cycle (Launch, Growth, Maturity, Decline, Off Patent) - Goal Based, MBO, Relative Rank, Performance Index, Grids, Hybrid etc.


  • Expertise in exploratory analysis, research, and delivering complex business and data solutions


  • Strong knowledge on the US Pharma commercial data landscape is essential, along with familiarity with secondary data sets like IQVIA Sales, LAAD, DDD, NPA, NSP, SP/SD, Call Activity, Veeva SHA, DRG, MMIT, etc.


  • Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel & PPT; additional skills in Python, Pyspark, AWS (Data Sagemaker, Athena) are advantageous
