Develop and implement security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential security vulnerabilities.
Train and supervise security staff, including hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Monitor and respond to security alarms and CCTV footage, and investigate any suspicious or criminal activity on the property.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services in case of any security incidents.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date security records and reports.
Conduct regular safety and security training for all employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with brand standards and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and maintain relationships with external security vendors and suppliers.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in security management.
Respond to and resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to safety and security.
Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure a cohesive approach to guest safety.
Manage security budget and expenses, and make recommendations for improvements or cost-saving measures.
Act as a role model for all employees by demonstrating a commitment to safety and security in all actions and decisions.
