Introduction IBM is seeking a Security Compliance Engineer to join the PaaS Database Services Security and Compliance team. Working alongside a team of Security and Compliance Specialists the role will be focused on audit participation and maintaining continuous compliance of the Cloudant and IBM Cloud Databases services
Your Role and Responsibilities
Evidence gathering for internal and external audits, working with internal audit team and external auditors
Working closely with SRE and development teams to maintain continuous compliance of the Cloudant and IBM Cloud Databases services.
Developing and updating Security Compliance processes and collateral in support of existing and new compliance programs.
Working with compliance automation team on compliance automation requirements and testing new compliance automation features
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced, agile environment
Familiarity with some of the listed Compliance Frameworks: PCI DSS, SOC 2, FedRAMP and NIST 800-53
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Technical background, with Information Security experience preferred
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously and prioritise effectively
Attention to detail
Ability to seek things out to learn what you do not already know
