Security manager is crucial in safeguarding an organization’s assets, employees, contractors and customers. It involves conducting risk assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and devising appropriate security measures.


He / She requires to lead a team of security personnel – responsible for their training, performance and adherence to security protocols for ensuring a safe work environment.


Your Role


 Managing and maintaining the guarding security force.


 oversee the security operations center, manage security personnel and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards – playing a pivotal role in minimizing risks, protecting assets and ensuring the company’s well-being.


 Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.


 The primary role of security managers is to develop and implement effective security strategies and protocols to protect the company against threats, theŌ, vandalism and other security risks.


 Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities.


 Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.


 To mitigate risks, they develop emergency response plans, conduct drills and training sessions and monitor surveillance systems to respond to security incidents promptly. In case of security breaches, they investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.


 Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.


 Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.


 Handling confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.


 Conduct and support the periodical security & safety awareness session and drills.


 Maintaining office supplies, ensuring that the office environment is well-organized and efficient.


 Addressing and managing requests and queries promptly and effectively.


Your Background


Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:


 Bachelor’s degree in security management or a related field.


 5+ years of experience in security automation & management, law enforcement, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.


 The candidate should be experience in the field of IT and Manufacturing industry.


 In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management soŌware and other securityrelated equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.


 Hands on working and knowledge in Lenel access control system.


 Fair knowledge in Avigilon or Hanwha CCTV system is preferred.


 Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.


 Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in India.


 Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale.


 Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.


 AƩention to detail and a keen eye for idenifying and mitigating security risks.


 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.


 Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.


 Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
