We are looking for an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Specialist with expert-level skills in Test Automation Framework and Python (including PySpark). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data and ETL processes, exceptional communication abilities, and proven expertise in stakeholder management. This role demands proficiency in coordinating cross-functional teams, driving QA initiatives, and collaborating closely with Product Owners and Development Teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of prioritized work backlogs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Testing: Build Test Automation Framework to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Python and PySpark Development: Apply expert-level Python (including PySpark) skills to develop and maintain test automation frameworks, scripts, and tools.
- Data and ETL Expertise: Leverage a strong background in data and ETL processes to support testing and ensure data integrity throughout the pipeline.
- Stakeholder Management: Efficiently communicate and manage expectations with stakeholders, ensuring their requirements and feedback are incorporated into the QA process.
- Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate QA pods, ensuring seamless collaboration with Product Owners, Development Teams, and other stakeholders.
- Backlog Management: Drive the closure of the prioritized work backlog by working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software.
- Quality Assurance Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in QA methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8-15 years of relevant experience in software testing, development, and quality assurance.
- Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Selenium for automated testing.
- Strong programming skills in Python, including experience with PySpark for data processing.
- Deep understanding of data and ETL processes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record in managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Team Coordination: Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive collaborative efforts towards achieving common objectives.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile environments, with the ability to manage and prioritize work backlogs effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other test automation tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
Relevant certifications in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields.
