• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. 
• Minimum 4 Years of Professional experience in Splunk Development/Administration. 
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk basic Architecture
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk Application Development and Design
• Good to have Splunk Administration basics Knowledge
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk KV Store Usage and Maintenance
• Good to have Splunk Web framework Knowledge
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk Simple XML Knowledge
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk Knowledge Objects
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk Search Processing Language
• Mandatory knowledge of Splunk Data model usage and Dataset design
• Good to have Regular Expressions Knowledge
• Good to have Object Oriented JavaScript Knowledge
• Mandatory knowledge of Python Scripting Knowledge (Intermediate)
• Good to have Splunk Alert Action Development Knowledge.

Your main responsibilities 

• You will be developing, monitoring, and reviewing Amadeus solutions for airports. You’ll:
  • Work as a developer to create and improve our Airport Management Solutions
  • Work on spikes to provide technical inputs for implementing new features.
  • Review code and suggest best practices to the team.

• You will be working on improving delivery efficiency and the quality of the product. You’ll:
  • Work with the team to design solutions.
  • Help in improving code coverage (unit tests).
  • Produce software documentation necessary for the application.
  • Establish DevOps Engineering team best practices for release engineering.
  • Perform troubleshooting on critical issues. 
  • Attend and give feedback in sprint demos.
  • Work on POCs to improve engineering practices.

• You will be mentoring team members. You’ll:
  • Build team skills by mentoring and knowledge sharing with team members.

• You will work with POs to understand requirements and to provide solutions You’ll:
  • Work with PMs and POs to define solutions and clarify requirements. 
  • Sizing of user stories and features.

• You will work with open-source technologies. You should:
  • Stay current with industry trends 
  • Help in fostering an innovation culture.

Common accountabilities:
- Has the required technical/functional knowledge and experience in own discipline. Knowledge of the Amadeus business and how it is related to own area. ​
- Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions. Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.​
- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
Specific accountabilities:
● Analyse specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.
● Design systems and code
_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
_ Model, design and implement databases.
● Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst
● Document your work
_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
