The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will hold a diverse array of Project Management capabilities that reflect the current state of modern Enterprise software development. A solid understanding of both traditional and Agile project management principles, a delivery-focused approach to managing project teams, along with a strong technical capacity and excellent communications skills are all core competencies in this role. Ideal candidates will be familiar managing software initiatives that span proprietary product hardware, across multiple product lines, and Enterprise software applications with flexible deployments (on-premises, cloud, SaaS).


We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to facilitate and lead our Agile development teams. The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring that teams follow Agile methodologies and practices while optimizing processes and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. This role involves working closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to support the successful completion of projects.


What you’ll do:


  • Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies: Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure the Agile process is followed.


  • Remove Roadblocks: Identify and eliminate any obstacles or bottlenecks that may impede the progress of the team.


  • Team Coaching: Mentor and coach the development team in Scrum principles and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with product owners to ensure that the product backlog is prioritized and understood by the team.


  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve team processes and performance by promoting a culture of continuous improvement.


  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates on project progress, and gather feedback.


  • Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on key Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity) to ensure team performance is measured and optimized.


  • Risk Management: Identify and manage risks that could affect the successful delivery of the project.


  • Ensure Team Alignment: Foster an environment of collaboration and alignment between team members, ensuring clear communication and shared goals.


  • Agile Transformation: Support Agile transformation efforts by leading teams through changes and advocating for Agile principles across the organization.
     


Who you are:


  • Bachelor's degree in technical field


  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience working with product and engineering teams in a technical Software Product organization


  • Technical competency in managing complex technical features across proprietary hardware, audio/visual display, cross-product technical integrations, communications protocols, system performance, scalability and security


  • Ability to navigate through ambiguity, set direction, and influence cross-functional teams not under direct line of management


  • Detail oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion to produce top quality deliverables from start to finish


  • Agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master


  • Demonstrated success defining and launching products in Production environments


  • Extensive project leadership experience and strong team building abilities in a Software Product organization


  • Analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions


  • Ability to triage customer support requests against planned support capacity


  • Able to troubleshoot issues independently and drive to resolution with sense of ownership and urgency


  • Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.


  • Knowledge of software development practices and tools.


  • Familiarity with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).


  • Experience with DevOps practices and their integration into Agile processes.
