In this vital role you willFacilitate team events such as Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, reviews, and retrospectivesAct as a servant leader and coach for and within Product and Platform teamsFoster an environment where the team can stay focusedEducate the team about Lean and Agile practices like ScrumRemove roadblocks and impediments to team progressSupport the Product Owner in managing the backlog and guiding the teamStrengthen communication and relationships with other teams, especially those on the Agile Release Train (ART)Track team metrics and find ways to improve team performanceGuide the team towards becoming a high-performing and self-managing unitContinuously learn and improve as a Scrum Master to better support the team's success, including participation in Amgen Communities of PracticeWhat we expect of youWe are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The [vital attribute] professional we seek is a [type of person] with these qualifications.Basic Qualifications:Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience ORBachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience ORDiploma and 10 to 12 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experienceMust-Have Skills:5+ years’ Project Management experience2+ years’ experience working in a highly agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) environmentExperience with ITIL and Service ManagementExperience operating within a validated systems environment (FDA, European Agency for the Evaluation of Medicinal Products, Ministry of Health, etc.)Experience working cross-functionally and building collaborative working relationships; interfacing effectively with stakeholders, operations and management to resolve issuesAbility to organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic action plans incorporating time constraints and task prioritiesPrevious experience working in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse environmentExcellent Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skillsJira experienceSAFe training experienceGood-to-Have Skills:Workshop facilitation experienceSlido or other survey building experienceProfessional Certifications:SAFe for Teams (Mandatory)SAFe 6 Scrum Master (Mandatory)Certified SAFe 6 Agilist (preferred)Certified SAFe 6 Practitioner - (preferred)Certified SAFe 6 Release Train Engineer (preferred)ITIL 4 Foundations (preferred)Preferred Qualifications:Excellent analytical and gap/fit assessment skills.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.High degree of initiative and self-motivation.Ability to prioritise successfully.Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals.Strong presentation and public speaking skills.Work Hours: This position requires you to work a later shift and may be assigned a second or third shift schedule. Candidates must be willing and able to work during evening or night shifts, as required. Potential Shifts (subject to change based on business requirements): Second Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm IST; Third Shift: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am IST.
