Overview Job Overview: This role is responsible for leading the India Planning function across the two India Manufacturing Sites and multiple warehousing locations. Critical to success in this role is the optimization of raw materials planning,(including vendor direct and third-party items) production planning-scheduling to ensure all customer requirements are met in a timely manner, and development of the demand planning capabilities for PGCS India, while optimizing the use of available manufacturing and warehousing capacity and minimizing working capital requirements Responsibilities Responsibilities: Lead the Planning function for two Manufacturing sites in India. Manage day to day business processes across the Planning function. Ensure optimized inventory level management of raw and packaging materials to ensure that customer requirements are met on a timely manner. Responsible for managing COGS. Establish and execute a best-in-class Supply and Inventory planning process and continuously improve techniques, method, and approach Demand planning for India Volumes distributed across two manufacturing sites and with two distinct distribution strategies Manage and optimize planning parameters for finished goods, intermediate products, raw and packaging materials and intercompany items. Manage S&D Costs associated with India bottler supply. Develop and maintain production order policies to optimise plant efficiency across two locations and working capital requirements while ensuring product availability to meet customer demands and efficient utilization of 3PL warehousing. Develop and maintain raw materials safety stock and replenishment policies to ensure raw materials availability and optimization of working capital. Manage Coded Material planning and Interplant Transfers BCP Readiness Assessments for India to support other PGCS sites as required Management of new SKU introduction and product changes related to the India bottler network Lead the ongoing review of short to long term capacity and supply capability including AOP and Strategic Plan input. Provide visibility of supply risks and opportunities into India plants management; Continuous process improvements in raw materials and production planning areas. Contribute to and provide leadership for inventory reduction strategies, including participating / leading monthly inventory review process to provide consolidated reports for financial reporting and risk assessment. Develop, maintain and analyze a comprehensive suite of KPIs to monitor performance and ensure targets are achieved. Lead implementation of training plans to ensure coverage across all areas for direct reports. Work cross functionally to develop mechanisms that will improve quality, provide realistic schedules, standardize processes and reduce costs. Participate in development and implementation of new area processes and improvements. Lead third party management activities, including warehousing, inventory management, customer shipments, and invoicing Meet all internal and external compliance responsibilities including Purchasing Policy requirements, GCS, SOX & AIBI. Adherence to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements is a requirement of this role. Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
