What you will do

In this vital role you will responsible for supervising security solutions across multiple systems in the Global Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) landscape, maintains compliance with IT controls, resolution of security matters, works with SAP teams, collaborators, and partners on security standards, and advances global SAP security at Amgen, including automation capabilities in SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). This role also supports management and governance of the SAP licenses portfolio at Amgen.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Demonstrate extensive knowledge in SAP security, ensuring services are delivered on time to meet business needs
Develop security technical evaluation aligned with industry standard methodologies
Design and build of security roles and authorizations
Uphold compliance with Amgen security policies, processes, and procedures across all SAP systems
Accountable for the development, testing, implementation, and support of security roles across the SAP landscape
Provide support for SAP audits and compliance requests
Actively handle issues and risks, devising mitigation and contingency strategies
Aid functional and technical teams in resolving critical issues related to Security
Design and evaluate the SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Access Control suite of programs, which includes user provisioning, segregation of duty management, emergency access, and role management
Work in partnership with the business on Security Stewardship
Provide support on SAP security strategies, and processes
Support SAP security incident management and service requests
Perform on-call duties and call out issues as needed

Basic Qualifications:
Master’s degree and 4 to 6 years of SAP Senior Security Engineer experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 to 8 years of SAP Senior Security Engineer experience OR
Diploma and 10 to 12 years of SAP Senior Security Engineer experience
Extensive experience with design and implementation of SAP security roles and authorizations involving S/4 HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP), including SAP Fiori
Ability to handle the SAP security lifecycle from requirements analysis, role design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
Practical knowledge of GRC Access Control principles and solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP security aspects of SAP Cloud Industry Solutions, e.g., ICH, ICMS, and others
Specialist in handling ITGC SOX Controls within the SAP security framework
Experience with implementing and supporting a task-based security framework in SAP solutions
Professional Certifications:
SAP Security (Preferred)
SAP GRC Access Control (Preferred)
Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
CISSP (preferred)
CISA (Preferred)
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and solve skills
Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work optimally with global, virtual teams
