Requirements
Core Functional Experience:
Plant Maintenance Processes:
In-depth knowledge of the maintenance process, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.
Familiarity with maintenance strategies such as time-based, condition-based, and risk-based maintenance.
Experience in equipment and technical objects management (e.g., functional locations, bills of materials, equipment records).
Work Order Management:
End-to-end lifecycle management of work orders, from creation to closure.
Planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, resource allocation, and job tracking.
Notification Management:
Handling and processing of maintenance notifications (malfunction reports, inspection results).
Integration of notifications with corrective actions and work orders.
Preventive Maintenance Scheduling:
Setting up and managing maintenance plans (single cycle, strategy-based, and time-based plans).
Scheduling maintenance tasks based on equipment conditions or time intervals.
Maintenance Costing & Budgeting:
Knowledge of maintenance-related cost planning and settlement processes.
Integration of PM with Controlling (CO) and Plant Costing.
Integration with Other SAP Modules:
Integration with SAP MM (Materials Management) for spare parts and procurement.
Knowledge of integration with SAP FI (Finance), CO (Controlling), and HR for resource management and payroll.
SAP QM (Quality Management) integration for inspection processes.
Interaction with SAP PP (Production Planning) to manage production-related maintenance.
Master Data Management:
Experience in maintaining accurate PM master data, including functional locations, equipment, maintenance plans, task lists, and measuring points.
Mobile Solutions & User Interfaces:
Experience in SAP Fiori or mobile applications for plant maintenance.
Knowledge of user-friendly interfaces for maintenance tasks in the field.
Reporting & Analytics:
Knowledge of SAP PM reporting tools, such as SAP standard reports, KPIs, and integration with SAP BW/BI for advanced analytics.
Experience with dashboard setups for maintenance performance monitoring.
Additional Skills:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA: Exposure to PM in SAP S/4HANA, including new features and improvements compared to ECC.
Project Leadership/Management: Ability to lead and manage PM-related projects, including system rollouts, upgrades, and optimization.
Knowledge of Industry Standards: Awareness of industry best practices, compliance standards, and regulations related to plant maintenance.
Professional Experience & Education Requirements:
Functional Experience
7 to 10 years of experience in business process consulting
Has a minimum of five years’ experience in implementations
Good understanding of the industry and/or LoB specific business processes
Has performed feasibility studies / PoCs etc.
Managerial Experience
Takes responsibility from time to time as a sub project lead and/or team lead
Acts as a coach for colleagues
English: Fluent
Education
University Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
