Summary: VES is looking for a SAP Programmer to join our team in Faridabad, India location. This person modifies SAP related software to enhance or add functionality per business requirements. This can include developing or interfacing with external software programs. Works with functional SAP analysts and internal customers to determine and design custom programming. Troubleshoots technical issues and implements software corrections as required. 
Follows all company and department policies and procedures with special consideration for safety.          

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned.

• Assist in gathering data from users and fact-finding to develop and/or modify information systems.  Identifies areas for modification.  
• Provides assistance with the development of program specifications and performance requirements. 
• Designs, codes, tests, and debugs programs. Evaluates the performance of assigned software applications to minimize latency.
• Prepares documentation for own programs including flowcharts, user manuals, and training material.
• Performs test protocols and writes reports describing the performance of application based on provided functional and performance specifications.
• Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Ability to show proficiency with  SAP ABAP Programming & SAP UX. Microsoft DotNet programming knowledge is preferable.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Systems, or other related field preferred.
• Understanding of SAP ABAP programming and SAP UX development.
• At least 4 years of SAP ABAP programming experience. Exposure to S4/HANA development is preferable.
• Experience in a similar industry is desired.
