Supply Chain Planning Production Systems:
- Responsible for managing and executing production planning systems, data, and processes for global and regional businesses.
- Handling all supply planning activities in Global APO/IBP, R3 systems, BW and other integrated or off-line tools supporting demand and supply planning. This includes Daily ROT, Weekly Planning Process, PO management, RSAM, data linkages from DP to/from SNP, reporting tools, etc.
- Collaborate with clients, global project teams and senior managers.
- Responsible for ensuring daily and weekly CTM runs.
- Responsible for resolving APO/IBP, BW and R3 execution issues and providing system stability.
- Single point of contact for all planning system process issues
- Key focal point between business and IT to immediately respond to all system issues and complete plan cycles on time.
- Key success metrics – Plan generation creation/publication and process/system availability
Project expertise
- Provide critical planning system process Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for all Planning Innovation and Transformation projects.
- Provide thought leadership and enablement of Planning:
- Business Requirements definition/documentation
- System Process Design with IT
- Testing and Implementation
- Own stabilization and hand-off from IT post warranty
- Skill Sets Leadership and Business Process Expertise
- Well-respected positive influence in the business unit; viewed as a “go-to” resource.
- Excellent working knowledge within a given process/functional area – possess a strong knowledge of the business, and expertise in planning or forecasting processes and supply chain concepts.
- Able to work independently with limited direction.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members.
System Expertise
- Expert in the appropriate APO/IBP, BW and R3 module(s) and reporting tools; or ability & desire to become an expert.
- CTM runs, Deployment, Heuristics.
- Understanding the complex logic of data flow in BW and Debugging for any failure in the data flow.
- Knowledge in Datastore objects (DSO), MultiProviders, InfoSets, Transformations, DTPs, Data Sources, Process chains and data loading
- Good understanding of how the processes integrate within the system –
- Broader system knowledge of APO, BW and R3 architecture
- Understanding of all system interfaces (APO/BW/R3) end to end.
- Knowledge of data timing dependencies
- Able to learn new software applications as required.
Analytical and Trouble-shooting skills
- Using all knowledge of business process and system expertise to trouble-shoot and identify root cause of issues.
- Able to analyze system data and trouble-shoot issues by spending time exploring the tools available on their own in a trial-and-error fashion.
- Excellent business acumen, knowledge of supply chain and supply chain data (SAP ERP knowledge is a must)
Communication/Presentation and Training Skills
- Demonstrated communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Aptitude and enthusiasm for learning and teaching others.
- Ability to analyze and communicate results and outputs of the process and tools to a non-technical audience.
- Able to represent business requirements and needs from a process and system standpoint.
You would be the right candidate if you have:
- Experience in SAP APO Module or SAP APO Consultant with atleast 4 years of work experience in SAP APO Modules, Supply Chain Systems.
- Ideal candidate would have any of the following degrees – BTech, BE, MCA, or a degree in Computer Science
- Excellent business acumen, knowledge of supply chain and supply chain data (SAP ERP knowledge is a must)
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Very Good with MS Office. Ability to represent data through XL/PowerPoint / PDF.
- Software skills experience like front end technologies e.g., SQL, MS Access, MS Excel including macros would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on SAP IBP would be an added advantage.
- Advanced written and verbal skills.
- Availability to work extra hours when business needs arise (may include nights, weekends, holidays)
