The goal of the Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) division within the board area is to provide end-to-end managed services experiences to customers as they embark on cloud transformation journeys, thereby paving the way for SAP's future. THE ROLE


Within the SAP ECS - EMEA group, the Technical Service Manager (TSM) is a key member that acts as a trusted advisor, protecting and maximizing clients' investments in SAP Enterprise Cloud Services. Throughout the client lifecycle, the TSM serves as the main point of contact for technical discussions and escalations. Their duties include developing a thorough awareness of the customer landscape, offering advice on technical requirements, and resolving complicated technical challenges. Working along with client delivery managers, this function also entails delivering high-quality services to guarantee customer satisfaction.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


• Serve as ECS clients' main point of contact for technical matters, offering advice and assistance throughout through the customer's lifecycle.


• Have a thorough awareness of the objectives, business, and difficulties faced by the client in order to provide creative suggestions and solutions.


• Act as a point of contact for technical problems pertaining to the ECS clientele.


• Recognize and promote the provision of value-added services from the current ECS service offering.


• Work together to create executable service plans and long-term account visions with internal ECS delivery teams.


• Attend clients' locations in person for unique circumstances, and serve as a technical consultant who is essential to the customers' Intelligent Enterprise transformation.


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Management.
  • • Strong technical proficiency and practical experience with SAP products and technologies (Preferred: SAP certification).
  • • Outstanding communication skills and a strong focus on client service
  • • Capable of analytical and solution-focused thought.
  • • Outstanding English communication, presentation, and writing abilities.
  • • Demonstrated capacity to oversee customer escalations, manage operational duties, and promote process improvements.
  • • Capable of handling important client relationships and having strong conflict resolution skills.
  • • Skilled in confidently and clearly communicating technical details to those who are not technical.
  • • Solid understanding of virtual technologies, such as load balancers and virtual machines, networks, and hyperscalers.
  • • Capacity to perform well under pressure and continuously offer value for clients and the company.
  • • A wealth of expertise working with multinational and remote cross-cultural teams to accomplish seamless project delivery.

WORK EXPERIENCE


• Over ten years of expertise in the IT sector using SAP technology (BASIS).


• At least five years of experience working with customers, with a focus on demonstrating good dispute resolution, de-escalation, and executive-level Customer Relationship Management abilities.


• Proven project management skills for effectively managing customer projects and resolving issues.
