SAP Associate Technology Consultant - Fiori

The SAP Fiori Consultant will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of SAP Fiori applications in alignment with business needs. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to deliver user-friendly and efficient interfaces, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users on the SAP S/4HANA platform. This role is critical in supporting the digital transformation efforts to modernize the user interface and improve overall usability.

1. Design and Development:
   

   
   
   • Develop and customize SAP Fiori apps based on user requirements.
     
   • Build custom OData services using SAP Gateway and integrate them with Fiori apps.
     
   • Ensure Fiori applications are optimized for performance and usability.
     

2. Technical Configuration:
   

   
   
   • Configure SAP Fiori Launchpad, catalogs, groups, and roles.
     
   • Maintain and enhance SAPUI5 and Fiori components, ensuring integration with SAP S/4HANA.
     

3. Collaboration:
   

   
   
   • Collaborate with functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into Fiori solutions.
     
   • Work with security teams to ensure proper access and authorization management.
     

4. Testing and Support:
   

   
   
   • Perform unit testing and assist with system integration testing (SIT).
     
   • Provide technical support for Fiori applications, resolving issues and ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
     

5. Continuous Improvement:
   

   
   
   • Stay up-to-date on the latest Fiori and SAPUI5 developments, applying best practices and new features to existing and new apps.
     
   • Participate in training end-users on Fiori applications and functionality.
     

1. SAP Fiori & SAPUI5 Development:
   

   
   
   • Strong experience with Fiori/UI5 architecture and app development.
     
   • Familiarity with SAP Fiori design guidelines and UX principles.
     
   • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
     

2. SAP Gateway & OData Services:
   

   
   
   • Expertise in building and extending OData services to support Fiori applications.
     

3. Fiori Launchpad Configuration:
   

   
   
   • Proficiency in configuring roles, groups, and catalogs in the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
     

4. ABAP & Integration:
   

   
   
   • Basic knowledge of ABAP for enhancing and creating OData services, and integrating Fiori apps with SAP backend.
     

5. Performance Optimization:
   

   
   
   • Experience optimizing Fiori applications for mobile and desktop devices.

   • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
     

2. Problem-Solving:
   

   
   
   • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues with Fiori apps.

   • Strong communication skills to work effectively with functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical consultants.
     

4. Collaboration:
   

   
   
   • Ability to work within a team and collaborate across different business units.
     

• 4+ years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
  
• 2+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori apps.
  
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and Fiori integration would be a plus.
  
• Experience with SAP HANA databases and CDS views.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  
• SAP certifications in Fiori/UI5 are highly desirable.
