Role – SAP Analytics SME
Responsibilities
  • Leads proposal development, staffing estimation and presales activities.
  • Manages a team of solution architects, proposal manager(s) Reviews and analyzes customer/prospect requirements and develops a software bill-of-materials to meet requirements.
  • Meets with business partners, project managers, and vendor partners to determine project scope and vision, set system goals and develop proposals.
  • Communicates solution architecture, scope, solution details and benefits to customers/prospects.
  • Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
  • Provides demonstrations of SAP Finance functionality to customers/prospects to explain and sell SAP software and invenioLSI integration services.
  • Reviews and approves high-level project plans, staffing estimates and statements of work.
  • Defines deliverables and milestones based on Activate Methodology with invenioLSI templates and variations.
  • Evaluates project risks based on customer requirements detailed in solicitations (tenders, RFx, etc.).
  • Advises Sales on the need for third-party vendor partnerships.
  • Coordinates with legal affairs to review and manage exceptions to customer and partner standard contracts.
  • Advises field teams on solution gaps and solution components. Performs quality assurance on solutions proposed by field teams.
  • The position generally requires about 20% sporadic travel to customer location.

SAP Skills


  • 10+ Years of experience in data architecture, presales, or consulting roles
  • Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data platforms.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data architectures, including data lakes and SAP Data Warehouses (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA), ensuring seamless integration.
  • Deep experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including data services such as AWS S3, Redshift, Azure Data Lake, or BigQuery.
  • Proficiency with analytics and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or Google Data Studio, along with expertise in data integration platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP Data Warehouse solutions such as SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP Data Intelligence, along with SAP analytics tools like SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of big data ecosystems, including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and distributed data storage systems.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as data modelling for large-scale environments.
  • Ability to quickly study and learn new SAP functionality from blogs, help files, SAP partner enablement presentations, etc.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Understanding of public sector business processes.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules.
  • Understands and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.
