The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

Join Axial as a Business Analysis Leader to shape standards, build a supportive community, and drive excellence in SAP analytics delivery. Lead efforts to define analytics, AI, and process mining requirements across Finance and Operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality outcomes. You'll create best practices, organize learning, and foster innovation while collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at the forefront of healthcare transformation.
We are looking for experienced business analysis leader who can shape ways of working, set standards and build a community of business analysts.
We are building a SAP analytics delivery team. Each team will have a business analyst embedded in the team. The business analysts will be working with employees from across Finance and Operations to define analytics, AI and process mining requirements. Some of these requirements will have regulatory implications (e.g. GxP, SOX). We need an expert business analyst to shape ways of working across teams; somebody who can both build a supportive community and ensure that requirements are delivered to standard. This means you will be engaged in writing standards, organising learning, defining development opportunities, monitoring the quality of requirements, and delivering processes to support business analysis.
Essential experience
Significant experience of business analysis (processes, best practices, approaches),
Have worked in at least one regulatory framework (e.g. GxP, SOX) and understand how it impacts business analysis.
Beneficial experience
Analytics, data warehousing and analytics requirements gathering,
Pharmaceutical industry, especially operations,
AI / ML
Finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C etc),
S/4 HANA, SAP, Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud.
