Job Description
Salesforce/OmniStudio Development Lead
As a Salesforce/OmniStudio(Vlocity) Developer you will be joining the team supporting and developing the Salesforce Experience Cloud applications in use by the International Health Delivery Services - Global team.
Your role, as part of an Agile Scrum team, will include ensuring the system is healthy and configuring & customising Salesforce to meet new business requirements.

A normal day looks like:
- Providing team leadership for a group of Salesforce administrators and developers
- Acting as an escalation point for complex technical queries within the team.
- Maintaining an overview of the entire solution as implemented by the team.
- Developing and documenting customised solutions leveraging OmniStudio components such as Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures to complement built-in Salesforce functionality.
- Develop system integrations involving Salesforce.com web services (JSON, SOAP) and OmniStudio Data Raptors and Integration Procedures.
- Managing daily support and maintenance of the Salesforce instance, and conduct long-term improvement operations to ensure function, health and compliance. This can include user management, report and dashboard creation, issue investigation.
- Analysing requirements to ensure information is complete and determine complexity. Ideally use out-of-the-box functionality - determine what different design options exist and highlight any compromises.
- Collaborating with other technology teams to facilitate interfaces between Salesforce and other systems.
- Communicating with business partners to set expectations and negotiate when needed, explain complex technical issues and produce technical documentation.
- Work with the Agile Team to ensure internal communication is maintained to ensure efficient operation.
- Ensuring that solutions adhere to Salesforce best p.ices and leverage standard functionality where possible.
- Ensuring any developed solutions are written to be maintainable, scalable, testable and deployable.
- Mentoring junior team members
Ideally you will have experience with or have:
- 6+ years in Salesforce administration and development
- 4+ years as a Salesforce Developer with Apex, triggers, trigger frameworks, Visualforce, Lightning Aura/LWC
- 3+ years as a Vlocity/Omnistudio developer with Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures
- Omnistudio developer with Omniscripts, Data Raptors and Integration Procedures
- Experience Cloud , Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Health Cloud
- Salesforce Administrator & declarative development - Workflow automation, Validations, Object Model, Security Model
- Apex, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning Aura/LWC
- Calling external REST/SOAP APIs and web services from Salesforce
- UI development: .js, .css, Bootstrap
- Copado , VS Code, JIRA/ADO
- Would be useful to have knowledge of other object oriented development language(s) such as Java
- SQL Scripting
- Agile development methodologies (such as SAFe)
- Exceptional English verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- At least one of
- Certified Salesforce Administrator
- Certified Platform App Builder
- Certified Platform Developer I
- Certified Omnistudio Developer
It would be great if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 4+ years as a Salesforce Administrator with declarative development - Process Builders, Workflow, Validations, Object Model, Security
- Certified Platform Developer II and above
- Certified OmniStudio Consultant
- Certified Copado Fundamentals I and II
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Copado, Git, SFDX
- Experience with Health Cloud
- Experience with SmartComms
