Job Overview
Work on proof-of-concept delivery as part of global technology solutions resulting in pre-sales teams ability to support innovative solutions, new business/account acquisitions, and high profile clients in Life Sciences. Solves complex applications systems/programming problems considering environment capacity and limitations, operating time and form of desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those programs.
Essential Functions
•Build proof of concepts and demonstrations as per design and project plan. Ensure delivery and review of the proof of concept with Onshore stakeholders.
•Support the configuration of standard, Custom objects and Apps, Workflows, Process builder, Approval Process, Communities, Live Agent, Knowledge Articles, User License governance, and Reporting.
•Participate in discussions across departments as required to meet the needs of the proof-of-concept delivery and management of demonstration environments.
•Performs complex systems analysis and programming tasks requiring advanced techniques.
•Provides technical advice and consultation on difficult analysis and programming problems.
•Conducts analysis of complex data processing applications and prepares feasibility studies to evaluate user needs for new or revised systems.
•Activities include the conceptualization, development, and implementation of complex program designs.
•Defines system objectives and prepares systems design specifications to meet user requirements and satisfy interface problems.
•Presents recommendations to management.
•Assist in the writing of instructional materials (e.g. scope definition, communication plans, manuals, flowcharts, etc.)
Necessary Skills
•Salesforce Platform Knowledge: Deep understanding of Salesforce, including core components like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, and how they integrate with Health Cloud.
•Salesforce Health Cloud Specifics: Familiarity with Health Cloud-specific features like Patient 360, Care Plans, Care Teams, and Social Determinants of Health.
•Healthcare Processes: Understanding healthcare workflows, such as patient care management, clinical operations, care coordination, patient engagement, and healthcare compliance.
•Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), HITECH, FHIR, and other healthcare regulations, ensuring that solutions meet privacy, security, and compliance standards.
•Communication: Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and articulate complex healthcare processes and requirements.
•Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly assess challenges, recommend solutions, and manage potential risks.
•Collaboration: Working effectively with development teams, system integrators, and other departments to deliver successful projects.
Certifications
•Salesforce Health Cloud Consultant: A key certification that demonstrates expertise in Health Cloud, including its features, functionality, and best practices.
•Salesforce Application Architect or Technical Architect: Certifications that reflect deep knowledge of Salesforce’s architectural principles and best practices.
•Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I/II: Additional certifications can further enhance credibility in roles requiring a combination of configuration and development skills.
Exposure to Emerging Technologies
•AI & Machine Learning: Understanding how Salesforce Einstein (AI/ML) capabilities can be leveraged to predict patient outcomes, optimize care plans, and personalize patient engagement.
•Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of broader cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and how they complement Salesforce in a hybrid cloud environment.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related discipline, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
•Eight (5-8) years’ experience in systems analysis/application programming
•Possesses a minimum of three (3) years of related experience in Salesforce Health Cloud
