Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Community Care / Individual sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, implementing brand strategies, ensuring product availability, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and distributors. This role requires adherence to company SOPs and guidelines while executing marketing activities to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure Performance (Sales & Effort Parameters):
Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs within the designated territory.
Monitor sales performance and take proactive measures to address shortfalls.
Regularly report sales progress and challenges to the management team.
Implementation of Brand/Process Strategy:
Execute brand strategies in line with organizational goals and market dynamics.
Educate and promote products to HCPs and stakeholders using approved marketing materials.
Align field activities with the company's strategic direction to enhance brand visibility.
Product Availability at Chemist/Distributors:
Ensure optimal product availability and stock levels at chemist shops and distributor points.
Build strong relationships with key distribution partners to avoid stockouts.
Work closely with the supply chain team to streamline product delivery processes.
Generate Prescriptions from HCPs:
Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other HCPs.
Conduct regular visits to HCPs to promote product benefits and encourage prescriptions.
Leverage scientific and clinical data to effectively position products.
Conduct Marketing Activities in the Territory as per Plan:
Execute planned marketing initiatives, including CMEs, doctor meets, and patient education programs.
Organize promotional activities to enhance brand awareness and product penetration.
Collaborate with the marketing team to assess the effectiveness of initiatives.
Adherence to SOPs/Guidelines:
Comply with all regulatory and company-specific guidelines and SOPs.
Maintain ethical standards in all sales and promotional activities.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales data and field activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
