The Commercial Banking Operations group acts as a central point of contact working closely with Commercial Banking partners (e.g. Compliance, Legal, Risk, Product factories, Operations, Technology) on processes to ensure appropriate product controls are in place and are consistent when executing deliverables that have Banker, Product and Client impacts.
As a Sales Proposal Analyst within the Commercial Banking group, you will act as a central point of contact working closely with various partners. You will be responsible for creating and managing proposals, ensuring appropriate product controls are in place, and managing administrative functions associated with tracking, storing, organizing, and reporting Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposals. This role provides an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Job responsibilities:
- Support a queue of ongoing business-as-usual (BAU) change requests by coordinating with business partners to update already published documents, ensuring timely and accurate modifications.
- Manage multiple change requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and completing them with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Identify and escalate any issues, roadblocks, or challenges promptly to ensure they are addressed in a timely fashion, minimizing disruptions to the process.
- Submit and validate changes to the document library, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with the annual attestation process by managing the review schedule and completing related change requests for a defined set of published documents, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Ensure documents conform to prescribed templates and style guidelines by applying style standards, translating procedures to active voice, identifying keywords for enhanced search ability, and incorporating reviewers' edits for final publication.
- Conduct time-sensitive quality-assurance checks and peer reviews for other team members, ensuring high standards of accuracy and consistency across all documents.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Possess 3 years of experience in sales or support of treasury management and/or commercial card services, along with technical, business, or proposal writing experience in banking or Treasury Services (TS) products. Demonstrated ability to support presentations or proposals effectively.
- Exhibit excellent business writing, oral communication, grammar, and organizational skills, essential for producing high-quality documentation and engaging with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a high level of independence, energy, and integrity, with a proven ability to respect diverse opinions and styles. Accept accountability and responsibility for tasks, showcasing a self-starter attitude and attention to detail while effectively managing multiple tasks.
- Hold intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, with additional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and a college degree (BA or BS) is a must.
