We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore looking for a Sales Manager - India to strengthen our local presence further. The position reports to the Regional Lead Sales Manager.
You should live in the Bangalore area and have a very good network in this region. Therefore, you should have around 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role. You will together with our Regional Lead and Director APMEA be responsible for implementing our strategy and coordinate local adjustments.
Your responsibilities
Develop and grow accounts in the local market to reach our sales targets for your region
Structured development and maintenance of our AD, dealer and contract partner networks
Sell-in and implementation of in-store solutions, as well as novelties
End-to-end ownership of deals from initial contact to negotiation of terms and closing
Collaborate with internal teams and your sales colleagues to reach our overall growth objectives
Training of sales personnel
Your profile
Minimum 3 years’ experience of as Sales or Key Account Manager, ideally in the Indian contract furniture market (or experience from adjacent roles in architecture / design)
Degree in Business, Marketing or similar preferred
Ability to act independently, self-driven and results-oriented
Mature, credible, and comfortable in presenting in a professional environment on all levels
Strong negotiating and closing skills, paired with effective time management
Professional level of English, verbal and written
Ability to travel away from home, with the occurrence of odd hours
